After a few conversations, we decided to take the short drive to Wimberley, Texas. Driving from South Austin to Wimberley we took Ranch Road

re: Wimberley Texas

I love Wimberly and the hill country! Am going to remember your listing in River Oaks for people looking in that area!

re: Wimberley Texas

I had an artist friend visiting me from New Jersey and we took her to Wimberly.

She absolutely fell in love with the town. We especially enjoyed the metal animal sculptures.

If you are looking for a nice weekend, I'd recommend a trip to Wimberly.

re: Wimberley Texas

Wimberley has always been a favorite. We used to go swimming at a place calle "Blue Hole." You could swing off a rope into the creek. It was a blast. (and you can see why they called it Blue Hole) I love going to Wimberley because the ride alone is relaxing and then you get into the downtown area and it's like going back into time. It looks like a small Western, cowboy town. There's a great stained glass place there.

re: Wimberley Texas

Wimberley is a great weekend escape! The first Saturday Market days are really fun and I particularly love to visit the glass blowing shop. .. such originality.
