This past week my parents were in town to visit and on Monday, we were looking for something interesting to do. After a few conversations, we decided to take the short drive to Wimberley, Texas. Driving from South Austin to Wimberley we took Ranch Road 12 out of Dripping Springs. This drive is a very beautiful and curvy. As you drive along, on either side of the road are ranches and smaller farms with rolling hills all around you. In the distance, you can see the larger hills that abound in this area of central Texas. I always enjoy this drive because of the beauty. Upon our arrival in Wimberley, we walked around the unique shops and galleries they have there. We enjoyed our day in the beautiful town, had lunch at the Wimberley Cafe and purchased a few items. Mid afternoon, we decided to take a drive down River Road and take in the homes along the Blanco River. Just another beautiful drive.
