Western Oaks is a community that was almost entirely built by J.W. Smith, an Austin builder from the mid 1970's to the mid 1980's. I think this area is one of the best areas in southwest Austin. The homesites are large and have numerous trees on them. Most of the earlier homes in this area are 4 sides brick and have detached garages. Driving through this area is very pretty with the nice brick homes and tree lined streets. The subdivision offers a pool, tennis courts, playground and walking/jogging trails. The homeowners association is very involved in keeping the subdivision clean and beautiful. Pride of ownership shows in each home in the subdivision Set up a Custom Home Search! ♦ Sell your Western Oaks Home! Where is Western Oaks?
