At Travis Country West you will find one and two story homes that were built between 2002 and 2007. The community has a walking trail, playground and a community pool. Most of the lots are larger than average and havefairly large trees on them. Prices in this community range from the $300's to the $400's. When traveling west on Southwest Parkway, you will go past the William Cannon intersection. Continue forward on Southwest Parkway for a little under a mile and you will find the entrance to Travis County West to your left. Shopping near Travis Country West The nearest shopping to Travis Country West is at the intersection of Southwest Parkway, Mopac and Hwy 71/290. Here you will find Best Buy,and Sam's on one corner. On the opposite corner is Target. Across Mopac from Target, you have a Super Walmart. If you travel a block east on 71, you have tons of shopping at Brodie Lane. Here there is Home Depot, Kohl's, Barnes and Noble, TJMaxx, and many more. Restaurants near Travis Country West The nearest place to get food would be at the intersection of William Cannon and Hwy 71/290. In this small shopping center there is a Flores with great TexMex food. There is also a Burger Tex and a small sandwich shop. If Mexican food or a burger is not what you are looking for, go a little farther east on 71 and you will find all sorts of places to eat here. There is a La Madeline, Johnny Carino's Red Robin, and a new burger place, Mighty Fine Burgers. There are several other places to eat along this area also like Luby's, Wendy's and Texadelphia, Austin's intrepretation of a cheesesteak. Yummmmmm! |
