Lantana sits atop one of the many hills in the Oak Hill area of southwest Austin. Homes in this subdivision range from about 2000 square feet to somewhere around 4500 square feet. You will see the community on the hillside straight in front of you. Shopping near LantanaThe nearest shopping for Lantana would be east of the community at the Mopac/290/71 enterchange. Here you will have Sam's Club, Target, Best Buy, and Walmart along with a few small shops. Go a block east of this area and you have several shopping venues on Brodie Lane. Here you will find Home Depot, TJMaxx, Pier 1, Barnes and Noble, World Market and many other merchants. Restaurants near LantanaIn the same area as the shopping, you will find many restaurants from which to choose. There is Serano's a locally owned Mexican chain. In the same shopping center, there is a Quizno's sub shop and an Applebee's. On Brodie Lane you will find Wendy's, Luby's, Chipolte, Subway and Texadelphia that serves cheese steak "Austin" style. Across the street there is La Madeline, Marie Calender's, and Johnny Carino's. There is also a new burger joint that just opened up there called Mighty Fine Burgers.
