When traveling on Manchaca Road to Jones Road, you will find the complex to the left on Jentsch Court. Shopping near Mira MonteAll along Manchaca Road in either direction from Mira Monte , you will find small shopping venues. At the major intersections, you will find a greater selection in your shopping. If you take Manchaca Road going North to Ben White Blvd, you will find a Randall's grocery store. Take Ben White going west just a little piece, you will find Central Market Grocery. Central Market is an upscale grocery store where you will find more of your gourmet items along with your average grocery needs. They have both a wonderful wine department along with an awesome floral department. The deli and restaurant here is also very good. I could spend hours wandering around this grocery store. In this shopping center you will also find a theatre, bookstore, a small home decorating shop and a bath products store. Across the street you will find Target and a few other merchants there. On the opposite corner, there is more shopping with Neiman Marcus Last Call and other merchants. Restaurants near Mira MonteAt the corner of Stassney and Manchaca Road is Cherry Creek Catfish serving some of Austin's best catfish. In the same vacinity along Manchaca Road there is the Bakehouse where they serve different dishes from around the world along with wonderful breakfast with homemade biscuits just like Grandma once made. At the intersection of Manchaca and Ben White Blvd, you will find Dan's hamburgers (wish I had one now) and Long John Silvers. All along Ben White you will find restaurants. At the interchange of Ben White and Westgate, there is Hyde Park Grill that serves a varied menu, but has the BEST french fries in the city in my opinion. I never eat here without having a half serving of the fries. In the same shopping center, there is the Cafe at Central market that serves great sandwiches and salads. Across the way since this is a busy intersection, there is Fish City Grill, PokeJo's BBQ, and one of my favorite texmex restaurants, Texican Cafe. The sour cream sauce here is to die for....
