Maple Run is a great subdivision in Southwest Austin with homes ranging in size from approximately 1000 square feet to approximately 2200 square feet. The prices in Maple Run right now are ranging from the mid $150's to the low $200's. This subdivision was developed and built by Bill Milburn in the early 1980's. The main attraction to this neighborhood is the close proximity to Mopac that leads to a short commute to downtown. Buyers that are looking to be close to downtown and want a pricepoint around $200K or below will love this area. Living in Maple Run, you are close to any thing imaginable. There are 3 major fitness centers in the area, a walking/jogging trail, and plenty of shopping and resturants. The area also has caves to explore for those who dare. From Mopac south you take William Cannon to Brush Country and turn left. You should find Maple Run just south of of Convict Hill. When crossing Convict Hill the road changes to Latta Lane. If you live in Maple Run, you have plenty of places to spend your money. Living on the Latta Lane side of the subdivision, you are walking distance to the new Shops at Arbor Trails. There you will find Costco, Steinmart, and Haverty's plus many other merchants. Across the street, you have the nearest grocery store, Randall's, a Starbucks, Reid's Dry Cleaners, and several other shops. Just a short drive from here, you will find a Super Walmart, Best Buy, and Target at the intersection of Hwy. 290 and Mopac. Just around the corner you will find Kohl's, TJ Maxx, Home Depot, Barnes and Noble, plus many other great merchants. You will not be at a loss for shopping. Restaurant's near Maple RunThe corner of William Cannon and Mopac has many restaurants from which Maple Run residents can choose. At the left hand corner of Brush Country and William Cannon in front of 24 Hour Fitness, you will find the new Panera Bread company offering wonderful pastries, sandwiches and soup. If a sandwich is not what you desire, maybe you would have a taste for Cajun. Across William Cannon on the opposite corner is a shopping center that houses the Cypress Grill. Great cajun food!! Crossing William Cannon again, in the opposite shopping center you will find one of Austin's favorite Tex Mex eateries, Chuy's. Along with Chuy's, there is a Cheddars with a good variety of foods and drink. The shopping center also has a Pizzeria and Baskin Robbins.
