Escondera is an upscale condo complex in Southwest Austin. There are several floorplans to choose from with either 2 or 3 bedrooms. Square footage ranges from 1646 to 2349. The complex sits on a bluff overlooking Barton Creek Country Club with views for miles. The developement is about three quarters of the way complete, stage 3 units are built and are ready for move-in. You will find Escondera southwest of downtown. Take Mopac south and exit to Southwest Parkway. Travel on Southwest Parkway for several miles. Just past the second traffic light (at William Cannon) you will find Escondera to your right. Here you will find some really nice condos and awesome views. 
Where to Shop Near Escondera? The nearest shopping for the Escondera area would be at the Y in Oak Hill, or the several shopping areas at the intersection of Mopac and Hwy 71/290. At the Y in Oak Hill you will find an HEB grocery store, a couple of dry cleaners, a Big Lots, and several small local shops. When looking for shopping at the Hwy 71/290 intersection, you will find Target, Super Walmart, Best Buy,TJ Maxx,Home Depot, and many other great merchants. A little further away is Barton Creek Mall with many options for the fashionista's. Restaurants near EsconderaDriving for a few miles from Escondera on Southwest Parkway, you will intersect with the frontage road of Mopac. Here there is a variety of place to eat. There is Serano's TexMex. In the same shopping center is Applebee's, along with a Quizno's. On the opposite corner is Potbelly's Sandwich Shop. Going east for a couple of blocks is an abundance of places to eat; Luby's, Wendy's, Texadelphia, Red Robin, and many more. Good food is not far away when living at Escondera.
